*** SPECIAL OFFER TO REALM OF VANADIA REGISTERED USERS ***
DEADLINE is September 31, 1996 for the FREE game.
G.A.C. Computer Services has invested considerable time (months) and
resources in creating The Realm of Vanadia. We will continue to do so
until the series is completed sometime in 1996.
It has been brought to our attention that many sysops simply do not want to
spend the money on IGMs for Legend of the Red Dragon, even if they are as
big and excellent as The Realm of Vanadia. For this reason, we will be
creating a stand alone game after this series is completed that will use all
of the current elements of The Realm of Vanadia and add much more.
Current plans for this game include Inter-BBS support (which is already
present in Inter-LORD), an incredible array of caverns to explore (similiar
to the caves in Gypsy Camp), quests to be completed, a unique system for
creating players (allows descriptions etc...), and many more truly unique
ideas. You will no doubt notice the use of the word "unique" many times.
This is because, we are NOT going to create a LORD clone and simply use our
IGMs in it. We would rather create a totally new door game that is set in
the medieval period. This new game will be much more challenging then LORD.
The only similarities between the stand alone game and the LORD IGMs will be
in the overall genre of The Realm of Vanadia (the characters, layout, games
etc...) and the quality that you have come to expect from G.A.C. Computer
Services.
To help ease the cost of The Realm of Vanadia, we will be offering the stand
alone game FREE OF CHARGE to any sysop that registers the ENTIRE Realm of
Vanadia series of Inter-IGMs before Aug 31, 1996. This does not mean that
you must register the IGMs all at once, or register any before they are
released. We keep very accurate records, and will notify all sysops of the
deadline for this offer after the series is completed. We are doing this
because we wish to reward those sysops that have supported us in our efforts
to create the best In Game Modules for LORD.
After the stand alone game is released, it will be sold as a seperate product
and will develop independently of the IGMs. At that time, anyone wishing to
register the stand alone game will be required to pay the estimated $25
registration fee even if they purchase the Realm of Vanadia IGMs for $50
also.
In effect this offer means that you as a registered sysop will be able to
receive registrations to all six Realm of Vanadia IGMs, Inter-LORD, and the
stand alone game for only $50, a $45 savings compared to if you purchased all
seven IGMs seperately and then waited to purchase the game. We do accept
VISA, MC, AMEX, checks and money orders.
If you have any questions or ideas to be implemented in the stand alone
game, please feel free to contact us.
